Our beautiful cathedral gardens and grounds need some loving attention this spring.

On Sunday May 19, you are invited to come to church wearing red "casual clothes" to show your spirit is willing to help out.  After the 10 am service, a light lunch will be provided for all volunteers willing to stay on and get down and dirty with some cleaning up.  Outside projects include:

- trimming the hedges along Carnarvon Street

- wrestling out the blackberry brambles in the hedges and beds

- removing weeds and vines from fencing

- pruning shrubs and branches

- weeding the memorial garden

- picking up litter

- painting out graffiti

- trucking out green waste at the end of the day

Some tools supplied but please bring your own gloves and equipment. Whether you can spend an hour or an afternoon, your help is welcome.  If you are not able to come on May 19 but would like to take on a particular job in your own time, please let the parish office know.
