On 29 December 1170 Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury, was martyred in the Cathedral.  On this day Richard reflects on his experience of silence at the site of the Martyrdom during a visit in July 1983 and extends an invitation to reflect on our discipleship in this difficult year 2020.
