Being of Service

On the 24th of August each year, the Anglican Communion commemorates Bartholomew, one of the Twelve Apostles, about whose life after the Resurrection we have only legends.  For his feast, we read Luke 22.24-30 where Jesus reminds the Twelve that greatness is measured not by being served but by serving.
