Can These Bones Live?

Ezekiel's vision of the valley of the dry bones was directed to the people of Israel during their exile in Babylon.  Their questions are the questions subsequent generations of Jews and Christians have asked:  Has God abandoned us?  Does our suffering have any meaning?  What future do we have?
