During the Easter Season we read from the Acts of the Apostles to recall the pivotal moments in the first decades of the Christian movement. In Acts 1.6-14 Luke describes the Ascension of Jesus. Richard Leggett, Vicar of Holy Trinity Cathedral, reflects on how this text reminds us that the disciples of Jesus are 'itinerant'. We are called to move to wherever God needs us to be witnesses to the resurrection of Jesus and to God's power working in us to do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine.
