Look at Your Feet

In a familiar yet still enigmatic text, Jesus invites us to lay our burdens down and to take upon ourselves his light yoke and easy burden. That yoke and burden is the yoke and burden of vocation, "the place where our deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet" (Frederick Buechner).
