Repentance & Thanksgiving

The book of Joel is one of the shortest prophetic books in the Scriptures.  Yet it provides Anglicans with texts read on Ash Wednesday and on Thanksgiving Sunday.  Joel calls us to repent -- to look at the world from God's perspective -- and also to be thankful when our new perspective leads to a new life.
