Yielding Privilege

In Sunday's gospel Jairus yields the privileges of wealth, prestige and social status because his daughter needs healing.  In the same vein Jesus yields his privilege to put a wealthy religious leader in his place and goes to Jairus' home.  What privileges are we prepared to yield in order to bring healing to our families, our communities, our country and our world?
