A View from the Vicar

Today we celebrate the Feast of Barnabas, one of the first Christian leaders who joined the Apostles in proclaiming that the Kingdom is drawing near.  On this day and on this coming Sunday it's important to remember three things:  (1) there's still a lot of work to be done; (2) we can use all the help we can get to do what we're called to do; and (3) it's ordinary folk who will be the most effective in spreading the Good News of God in Christ.
