A View from the Vicar

In the Gospel for Pentecost we hear the familiar story of Jesus coming to the disciples after his resurrection even though they have locked the door.  God comes to us, even in the midst of a lockdown, and reveals God's very self in our difficulties.  Paul tells us that hardship produces endurance, endurance character and character hope.  It is this hope that is making itself known in our lockdown.
