Part of the Christian way is exploring and deepening our faith by intentional study. And who doesn't have that as a New Year's resolution?
There are two great options starting in January.
Our own vicar, the Ven. Richard Leggett, is once again leading Trinity Tuesdays. This is a great opportunity to learn from a thoughtful, informed scholar, together with other HTC friends. Go deeper than is possible on Sunday mornings. Look for the Zoom link on Tuesdays. Meets at 7pm on Tuesdays.
Another option is Transforming Questions, led by various clergy throughout the diocese. This 11 week course is a blend of real-time talks and small group discussions. It is an invitation to explore the Big Questions that inform our lives: Who is Jesus? Is prayer answered? What happens when we die? Participants meet with the same small group each week. This works well as an introduction to Christian faith or a refresher for life-long church folk.
