Dear People of the Diocese of New Westminster,
I’m writing to advise you on the whereabouts of our dear Archbishop:
She was admitted to Vancouver General Hospital yesterday and is undergoing a battery of tests to diagnose and discover the cause of some intermittent and recurring fevers and rashes that emerged after some travel outside the country.
Please know that she still has her sense of humour about her and wanted all of you to know that she continues in prayer for you. While she would prefer no visitors in that this time of testing is quite intense, I do know that she would very much appreciate your prayers.
