Tri-Parish Worship and Picnic

The three New Westminster Anglican parishes of Holy Trinity Cathedral, St. Barnabas, and St. Mary Sapperton are joining together for worship in Lower Hume Park.  Come praise and partner with your neighbouring churches with a combined communion service, followed by a picnic and festivities.

When: Sunday September 8, 2024 with worship beginning at 10 am, picnic to follow

Where: Lower Hume Park.  

Lower Hume Park is very close to Braid Skytrain station. If taking your own ride coming from New Westminster, turn right after from Columbia St after Braid  intersection. Continue going to the park and you will see a shed (only one shed in the park) that is reserved for us. The shed was reserved  from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It is a wheelchair accessible. Parking is available, and we can park on the roadside as long as it is safe.

What to bring: blanket or chair, lunch and something yummy to share

NOTE: THERE WILL BE A REGULAR 8 AM EUCHARIST AT THE CATHEDRAL THIS DAY

THERE WILL BE NO 10 AM SERVICE AT THE CATHEDRAL SITE
